Today, deep fakes and social engineering can easily compromise traditional methods, making the ability to verify the human beyond the device more critical than ever. Most of these security incidents happen around employee onboarding, authentication, and account/device recovery—the result of bad actors bypassing traditional multi-factor authentication controls. Over the past year, there have been notable breaches in healthcare, financial services, and travel & hospitality, underscoring the case that stronger user verification is needed.
This is where CLEAR steps in, leveraging years of experience in zero-fail environments. Our identity platform connects your unique biometric traits to your official ID, strengthening security without sacrificing convenience. CLEAR Verified’s IAM integration builds on this, offering businesses a simple way to add robust identity verification solutions to their existing employee access systems. Deploy quickly and easily with minimal IT effort.
Community Health Network
CLEAR’s first instance of this IAM integration is with Community Health Network, one of Indiana’s largest healthcare systems, to enhance security and reduce the burden on support services by streamlining employee password reset processes and improving identity verification across the network.
Healthcare service desks are frequently targeted by bad actors pretending to be employees or patients in attempts to reset passwords and gain unauthorized access to information. To combat these threats, Community is moving away from traditional multi-factor authentication, which verifies devices, to CLEAR Verified, which verifies the individual. In a pilot program at Community, 90% of targeted employees adopted CLEAR, highlighting its ease of use and effectiveness. The new system will eliminate the 6,000 annual password reset calls from employees and free up support staff to focus more on patient care.
"We are taking an important step to secure our network by ensuring that both employees and patients are exactly who they claim to be when accessing sensitive systems. This new approach is essential for safeguarding our data, our systems, and the care we provide."
-Rick Copple, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Community Health Network.
The time to strengthen enterprise IAM security is now—because the cost of inaction is too high. By adopting an innovative customer identification program, like CLEAR Verified's IAM Integration, corporations can bridge the gap in their security infrastructure, enhance protection against cyberattacks, and foster a safer digital environment for their employees.
