Visit my.clearme.com to manage your membership:

Visit a CLEAR airport location and scan your valid photo ID to:

• Update name, date of birth, & address
• Update your eyes and fingerprints

What is CLEAR Plus?

CLEAR Plus is our airport membership. With CLEAR Plus, you can move faster through airport security nationwide in our designated Lanes at TSA checkpoints. Our friendly Ambassadors help you verify your identity at a CLEAR Pod—no need to pull out your ID—so you can save time and avoid big lines.

How can I add family members to my account?

Bundle and save! Add up to 3 family members or friends to your account for just $60 each. Family members under 18 years old can always join you in the CLEAR Lane for free.

To add a new CLEAR member log in HERE.

To add an existing CLEAR member, contact our Member Care team with the following details and we'll update your Family Plan for you:

1. Full name
2. Date of birth
3. Email address associated with their CLEAR membership
4. Email address associated with your CLEAR membership

What are the special rates for American Express cardholders?

Members who enroll in CLEAR Plus and pay using select AMEX credit cards will receive statement credit to cover a portion or all of their membership! These benefits only apply to cardholders who pay for CLEAR Plus using one of the cards specified below.

AMEX Centurion Cards: Statement credit up to $329
AMEX Consumer, Corporate, & Small Business Platinum Cards: Statement credit up to $189 for at least 3 years
AMEX Consumer Green Cards: Statement credit up to $189

United Airlines and CLEAR have partnered to bring more value to United MileagePlus® frequent flyers.

Premier® 1K® members: Free annual membership
Premier Platinum/Gold/Silver members and United U.S. Credit Cardmembers: $109 annual membership ($80 savings off the standard CLEAR rate)
MileagePlus members: $119 annual membership ($70 savings off the standard CLEAR rate)

What is CLEAR’s Health Pass?

CLEAR Health Pass is available in the free CLEAR app and provides an easy way to complete health screenings for a safer return to what you love.

To create a Health Pass, you'll be asked to sign up for CLEAR and follow instructions to comply with the health requirements of the participating venue. This could include uploading proof of vaccination, linking a negative COVID-19 test, or filling out a health survey.

What is the Digital Vaccine Card?

With your CLEAR Digital Vaccine Card, you can access your vaccine information securely right on your phone — whenever and wherever you need it.

What is CLEAR for Sports & Events?

Our free designated CLEAR Lanes at stadiums allow all CLEAR members the ability to enter sports and entertainment venues faster than ever.

How do I get 4 months free if I’m an existing member?

If you’re already a CLEAR member, contact Member Care to add 4 months free to your membership.

This will extend your current membership by 4 months, and Member Care will confirm your new renewal date. If you’ve already had a CLEAR membership and completed the biometric screening, you can contact Member Care to reactivate your account and get 4 months free.

How do I get started?

After you complete the online enrollment form, you can go to a CLEAR Lane at one of our airport locations. A CLEAR Ambassador will help you get set up at a CLEAR Pod by adding your eyes or fingerprint to your secure profile and scanning your valid government-issued I.D.

Who can use CLEAR at the airport?

CLEAR is currently only available to U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents 18 and older with a valid government-issued photo I.D.

How can I add a family member?

Add up to 3 family members to your account during the 4-month membership when you enroll online, or add them later by logging into your account at my.clearme.com. At the end of your 4-month period, unless canceled, you will be charged $60 for each family member to the payment method on file. Family members under 18 years old can always join you in the CLEAR Lane for free.

What happens when the 4 months ends?

At the end of the 4-month period, your CLEAR airport membership will automatically renew as an annual membership for you and any family members that were added to your CLEAR account. You will be charged annually at the then-current rate ($189 for the primary member and $60 for each family member) to the payment method on file. You will not be charged if you cancel your membership before the last day of the 4-month period.

When do the 4 months start?

The 4-month membership period begins when you first sign up online by completing the online enrollment form and providing your payment information. If you are an existing CLEAR member, the 4-month period begins when CLEAR Member Care confirms your enrollment via email.

What if I have trouble linking my COVID-19 test results with CLEAR?

If no test is found, attempt to re-sync your provider. If your COVID-19 test shows up invalid, it is either too old or is inconclusive; another test must be provided.

Can I change my CLEAR photo after I create an account?

If your CLEAR photo is low-quality, you will be prompted to update your selfie when creating a Health Pass. If you continue to receive an error, please contact Member Care for further assistance.

How does CLEAR Plus work with TSA PreCheck®?

CLEAR Plus is a faster way to verify your identity so you don't have to wait in crowded lines to have your ID checked, while TSA PreCheck® expedites the physical screening process so you can keep moving without removing shoes, laptops, belts, etc.

CLEAR Plus and TSA PreCheck® are different services that both have the same goal — helping you get through airport security quicker and with less stress.  Using them together is a great way to get to your gate faster.
