What is Health Pass by CLEAR?
Health Pass is a free service on the CLEAR mobile app that connects your verified identity - using CLEAR’s established biometric platform - with your health insights to allow you frictionless access anywhere you go, from your office to the ball game and beyond. Components of Health Pass may include a real-time health survey screening, temperature screening and/or COVID-related test results directly from an approved lab provider.

How does Health Pass work?
Health Pass helps you quickly verify your identity and current health status wherever you go – right from your mobile device. Here’s how it works: 1. Open Health Pass in the CLEAR app. If your employer has requested you to use Health Pass for entry, be sure to use the link that was provided to you by your employer 2. Verify your identity by taking a selfie 3. Complete a real-time health survey 4. Show, scan or share your Health Pass for access to participating locations
Once enrolled in the app, can I begin using CLEAR immediately?
Once your enrollment is complete, you can use Health Pass immediately. To use CLEAR at our sports and entertainment venues, you may need to visit a pod before you are able to use CLEAR. To use CLEAR Plus at airport security, you’ll need to upgrade your account at any CLEAR airport location. You can also contact member services via email or call: 855-253-2763
Who can use Health Pass?
Currently, anyone 18 or older with a US state ID, driver license, US passport, or permanent resident ID is eligible for a CLEAR membership and to use Health Pass. Health Pass is a FREE service but you must enroll in CLEAR to use it, which you can also do for free. If you’re not yet a member, simply download the app here for iOS or here for Android. Enroll for free in CLEAR on your mobile device, then follow the instructions to access Health Pass. If you’re already a current CLEAR member, simply log into your account, and select ‘Health Pass’ on the home screen.

Is Health Pass free to use?
Yes - Health Pass is included in both Airport (Plus) and Non-Airport (Free) Memberships.
Is Health Pass Required to use CLEAR at the airport?
No, Health Pass is not required to use CLEAR at the airport at this time.
Can I use my free membership to access CLEAR Airport Lanes?
No. If you would like to use CLEAR at airport security, you can upgrade to a CLEAR Plus Membership.
How was the Health Pass survey developed?
The questions in the Health Pass survey were developed based on publicly available guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as other health institutions and it was reviewed and refined with the assistance of CLEAR's medical advisors. Information about COVID-19 is constantly changing. We continuously monitor CDC and other guidance on best practices for screening questions and may change the survey section of Health Pass from time-to-time in response to such guidance and the advice of our medical advisors.
Does Health Pass provide medical advice?
Health Pass does not provide medical advice. Health Pass is not intended to be a substitute for the advice, diagnosis or treatment from a physician or other health care professional and is not designed to independently determine if you have been exposed or are at risk for Covid-19 or any other condition. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. How do I cancel Health Pass or my CLEAR Membership?
To cancel your membership, log into your account at my.clearme.com and select the 'Cancel' button in the membership details section. When you cancel, you will receive a prorated refund for any time left on your subscription. If you were on a trial, you will not be charged as long as you cancel before the last day of your trial. If you joined CLEAR through another member’s Family Plan, please note that only the main account holder can make changes to your Family Plan subscription.
What does it mean when I get a Green, Yellow or Red status?
These statuses are determined based on your responses to survey questions and/or uploaded test results. The venue is in control of how they address Green, Yellow, and Red status for access to their establishment or place of work.
