What steps is CLEAR taking to protect members' health?
The health and safety of CLEAR members is our number one priority. In light of recent updates around the coronavirus, we implemented additional measures across all 34 airports to protect members. We are increasing the disinfection frequency of our physical technology, practicing social distancing by using every other CLEAR pod, making hand sanitizer readily available to everyone passing through our Lanes, and reminding members that iris verification is always available.
How have airport security checkpoint consolidations, due to COVID-19, impacted CLEAR Lanes?

How do I log in to my account?
Visit CLEARME.COM and Sign In at the top right of the page. Your username is the email address you used to enroll. You can reset your password by selecting 'Forgot Your Password'
How do I update my account information?
To update your name with CLEAR, you'll need to visit a CLEAR location where we can update your account records and biometrics. Please bring your updated (renewed, not amended) ID. Your ID must be one of the following: US Driver's License, US Passport, US-issued Permanent Resident Card, State-issued ID, or US Military ID. All forms of identification must be valid, unexpired, not amended, and have a photo. You can update payment details by logging in at MY.CLEARME.COM and selecting 'Update Billing.' You can also update other details like your password and phone number. Please note that starting October 1, 2020, all travelers who are 18 and older will need a REAL ID-compliant license or other acceptable form of ID, such as a US passport, when flying from a US airport. For more information, visit the DHS REAL ID page here. LINK CLEAR will also need your REAL ID-compliant license on file by the deadline. You can add your REAL ID-compliant document to your profile at a CLEAR location – simply ask a CLEAR Ambassador to assist you.
How do I cancel my membership?
To cancel your membership, log into your account at my.clearme.com and select the 'Cancel' button in the membership details section. When you cancel, you will receive a prorated refund for any time left on your subscription. If you were on a trial, you will not be charged as long as you cancel before the last day of your trial. If you joined CLEAR through another member’s Family Plan, please note that only the main account holder can make changes to your Family Plan subscription.
Does the name on my CLEAR account need to match the name on my boarding pass?
Yes. In compliance with airport security and safety regulations, and in order to use our CLEAR Lanes, the name on your boarding pass must match the name on your account. To ensure a seamless experience when using CLEAR, please remember to book your travel using the name on your CLEAR ACCOUNT . If you need to change the name on your CLEAR account, simply bring an ID that matches the name on your airline profile to one of our CLEAR LOCATIONS and we’ll be happy to assist you.
How do I contact CLEAR?
How do I print my receipt?
Once your credit card on file has been successfully charged for your CLEAR membership, you can print your most recent receipt from your account page. Log into your account at MY.CLEARME.COM and select 'Print receipt' on the right side.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit and debit cards. CLEAR is a subscription service that renews automatically each year. Members can change their auto-renewal settings by logging in at my.clearme.com and selecting 'Change Renewal Settings' or 'Cancel Membership.'
What is the new REAL ID requirement?
Starting October 1, 2020, all travelers who are 18 and older will need a REAL ID-compliant license or other acceptable form of ID, such as a US passport, when flying from a US airport. For more information, visit the DHS REAL ID page here .
Why do I need a REAL ID?
The REAL ID Act was passed by Congress in 2005 at the recommendation of the 9/11 Commission in order to create security standards for issuing licenses. You can learn more by visiting the DHS REAL ID page here .
How do I know if I have a REAL ID?
REAL ID-compliant licenses are sometimes marked with a star or other symbol at the top of the card, but we recommend checking by state here .
Where can I get a REAL ID?
Each state differs in how you can obtain a REAL ID. We recommend visiting your state’s motor vehicle agency website to learn more.
Do I need a REAL ID to enroll or use CLEAR?
Yes – before the October 1, 2020 deadline, CLEAR will need your REAL ID-compliant license or passport on your CLEAR profile. You can add your REAL ID-compliant document to your profile at a CLEAR location – simply ask a CLEAR Ambassador to assist you. If you don’t have a REAL ID-compliant document yet, you can still enroll with the following forms of ID: US Passport Card, US-issued Permanent Resident Card, State-issued ID, US Military ID, or Global Entry Card. Note that you may need to update your CLEAR profile before the October 1, 2020 deadline. If you’re linking your Hertz account to enjoy Hertz Fast Lane powered by CLEAR, you must have a valid driver’s license on file.

We'll honor any time that you have remaining on your CLEAR account. This time will be credited to you once you have reactivated your account. Reactivate Your CLEAR Membership To reactivate your account, or to view your remaining time, simply login at MY.CLEARME.COM . If you do not remember your password, please follow the instructions to establish a new one. Since we no longer use CLEAR cards, once your account is reactivated, you're all set to use CLEAR. We look forward to seeing you back in the CLEAR Lanes soon.
