How does CLEAR's simplified, one-tap ID and Boarding Pass work?
Delta SkyMiles members traveling with Delta no longer need to scan their paper or mobile boarding pass at the CLEAR pod, making it even easier to get through security. While this won’t replace the need for a mobile or physical boarding pass, moving through CLEAR will be even faster.

Is CLEAR’s standard rate going up? No – the price for a CLEAR membership remains the same ($179/year). I’m an existing CLEAR member that currently enjoys Delta SkyMiles pricing. Will I be able to keep this rate when I renew? Yes – as long as you don’t cancel your membership, the price you pay will not change. I’m an existing CLEAR member who currently enjoys Delta pricing. If I decide to cancel, will I be able to automatically return at my old rate, or will I get the new Delta rate? You will continue to pay what you pay today as long as you don’t cancel your membership. If you do choose to cancel your membership, and then re-enroll in the future, you’ll be charged at the new rate.

The United and CLEAR partnership is for use at airports, which is a paid membership. Log in to my.clearme.com to upgrade your account. Then, log in at my.clearme.com/mileageplus where you’ll be prompted to link your MileagePlus number to your CLEAR account. You’ll receive MileagePlus pricing when you’re billed for your membership.
I linked both my United MileagePlus and Delta SkyMiles® number and I want to make sure I get the best price based on my tier for each frequent flyer program. What do I do?
Contact CLEAR Member Services. The CLEAR team is available by phone, email, and chat. CLEAR will make a one-time exception to change the frequent flyer program you use for CLEAR pricing. Pricing changes do not affect your ability to use other CLEAR features like access to Delta SkyClubs or Delta Biometric Boarding Pass.
How do I know if I’ve successfully linked my United MileagePlus number to my CLEAR account?
Once you link your United account to your CLEAR account, you will see your MileagePlus number in your CLEAR account. Go to my.clearme.com to log in.

Is CLEAR Sports free?
Yes! CLEAR is free at our sports and entertainment venues. CLEAR members who pay for airport access can enjoy all of the benefits of a free membership at no additional cost. Can I bring a guest with me to the stadium or venue?
Members can bring one (1) adult guest through the CLEAR Lane per day at stadiums and venues. Children under 18 don’t need a membership and can go through the Lane when accompanied by an adult.
How do I upgrade to an airport membership?
If you’d like to experience the benefits of CLEAR at the airport, you can upgrade your membership at any time by logging into my.clearme.com . Your username is the email address that you used to enroll.
What is Biometric Ticketing?
As the official biometric ticketing partner of the MLB, you can link your CLEAR and MLB.com accounts to get into select venues with a single tap. In the CLEAR Lane, your fingerprint is all you need to use tickets in your MLB Ballpark app – no need to pull out your phone or printed ticket as you enter the game. To link your accounts, log into my.clearme.com/MLB (your username is usually your email address) and follow the instructions to enjoy biometric ticketing. While we're here to help streamline the entry process, there are other areas in the stadium that may require a ticket (either printed or in your MLB Ballpark app). You can use biometric ticketing at Citi Field for any NY Mets game, but stay tuned as we roll out more stadiums soon.
What is CLEAR Concessions?
In select venues, CLEAR members can use their fingerprints to purchase food and drinks at specific locations – no need to swipe a credit card or show an ID. To enjoy CLEAR at the concession stand, log into my.clearme.com and add a payment method. Currently, the only venues accepting biometric payments are T-Mobile Park (Seattle Mariners), CenturyLink Field (Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Sounders) and Citi Field (New York Mets) . Is CLEAR still partnered with Hertz?
Due to the Hertz bankruptcy, CLEAR and Hertz have discontinued their partnership and The Hertz Fast Lane Powered by CLEAR is no longer available.
What does this mean for the CLEAR pricing I received from Hertz?
We will honor the initial pricing you received as a Hertz customer and you will be notified of your CLEAR renewal price 30 days before your credit card is charged.
If my account was “Unlinked”, can I still use CLEAR?
Yes, no further action is needed on your end to use CLEAR at our other sports locations. Airport access requires a paid CLEAR Plus membership. If you are already a CLEAR Plus member, no further action is required.
