What if I received my first and second dose of the vaccine from different providers?
When you're linking your vaccination information, there is an option to add another provider. If both providers are listed in the CLEAR app, you'll be able to link directly to them. However, if you cannot find your provider, you may have to upload your CDC card.
What if I'm having trouble uploading my SMART Health Card?
While iOS users can upload an image of their SMART QR code from their photo library, Android does not support this functionality, therefore users will have to scan their SMART QR code. If you're having trouble scanning your SMART QR code on an Android, here are some tips:
1. Upload your SMART Health card to Google Drive, iCloud, or send it to yourself in an email
2. Open the image on a desktop computer, tablet, or another device
3. Scan the image with the device you're creating your Digital Vaccine Card on
Where can I use my Digital Vaccine Card?
You can use your Digital Vaccine Card wherever you need to show proof of vaccination.
How does Digital Vaccine Card work?
Easily create a Digital Vaccine Card in the CLEAR app by securely connecting to your vaccine provider, uploading your CDC card, or connecting to a SMART vaccine card. Once you've created a Digital Vaccine Card, you'll be able to show it as proof of vaccination wherever you may need to.
How can I add my booster dose?
If you created your Digital Vaccine Card before getting your booster dose, you can still add it by following the steps below:
1. Open the CLEAR app and enter the Digital Vaccine Card tile.
2. Follow the prompts to view your Digital Vaccine Card and select 'View Details'.
3. Select 'Add Dose'.
4. Choose a method to add your COVID-19 booster dose (CDC card upload, SMART Health Card, AHS, etc).
Once you've successfully uploaded your booster dose, this information will appear under the Vaccination details section of your Digital Vaccine Card.
What if I can't find my vaccine provider when creating my Digital Vaccine Card? Or what if I can find my provider but have trouble syncing to my Digital Vaccine Card?
If you are unable to find your provider, CLEAR may not be able to link with them at this time. Please attempt to upload your CDC card.
How can I remove my Digital Vaccine Card?
To remove your Digital Vaccine Card:
1. Open the CLEAR app and select the blue Digital Vaccine Card tile.
2. Follow the prompts to view your Digital Vaccine Card and select 'View Details'.
3. Select 'Remove Vaccination'.
If you choose to remove your Digital Vaccine Card, you will need to re-add your vaccination information if you'd like to use your Digital Vaccine Card in the future.
Why is my Digital Vaccine Card gray when my friend's or family member's is blue?
A blue Digital Vaccine Card means your vaccination information comes from a verified source, including direct linking from the provider or SMART QR codes from states and other organizations. A gray Digital Vaccine Card means it came from a user submitted source like a CDC card upload.
Can I retrieve an image of my CDC Card or SMART Health Card once uploaded?
Yes. Once scanned and a Digital Vaccine Card is generated, you can access an image of your CDC card or SMART Health Card by tapping "View Details".
What is the Digital Vaccine Card?
With your CLEAR Digital Vaccine Card, you can access your vaccine information securely right on your phone — whenever and wherever you need it.
