As of Monday, September 15, 2025, CLEAR+ Members were able to start using eGates at LGA for an even more frictionless experience. With eGates, it’s just one step and you’re in—making it easier than ever to travel through the city that never stops.
eGates initially launched at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on August 19, 2025 with the goal of helping Members turn travel days into great days. As a company that was born and raised in New York City, with their headquarters there as well, CLEAR is proud to launch eGates in the hometown airport.
Not only does LaGuardia Airport serve 33.5 million travelers per year, according to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, it has also been part of CLEAR's nationwide network for over 8 years, making this launch even more impactful.
eGates are the future of travel for CLEAR+ Members moving through the airport. With face-first technology, Members will verify instantly at the eGate and go straight to bag screening.
