American flags fly outside Gate B32 in Terminal B and Gate C19 in Terminal C, marking the departure gates of American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 on September 11, 2001. Travelers with sensory sensitivities can use the airport's Sensory/Calming Room in Terminal E, located post-security near Gate E15. The space includes calming, tactile features and an airplane simulation room to help passengers prepare for the travel experience.
Boston Logan also partners with Aira, a free visual interpreting service that connects travelers who are blind or have low vision with trained live agents through a mobile app or assistive smart glasses. Agents can provide step-by-step guidance from the curb through check-in, airport security, and all the way to your gate.
Travelers who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have difficulty speaking can access relay services through the Voice Massachusetts Relay System, and TTY assistance is also available through the Boston Logan Call Center.
Need a moment to relax before your flight? BOS PAWS, Boston Logan's therapy dog program in partnership with Alliance of Therapy Dogs, brings certified therapy dogs into the terminals to help reduce travel stress. You might meet Belle the Great Pyrenees, Campbell the Labrador Retriever, Remi the Giant Schnauzer, Waffles the French Bulldog, or one of the other friendly members of the BOS PAWS crew.
Boston Logan has four terminals: A, B, C, and E. Terminal A primarily serves Delta Air Lines, Terminal B serves American Airlines, United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and Air Canada, Terminal C is home to JetBlue and several regional carriers, while Terminal E handles most international arrivals and departures.
Gate assignments occasionally change, so check Boston Logan's official airline directory before your trip to confirm your departure terminal.
The free Massport shuttle connects all four terminals, the Rental Car Center, Airport Station on the MBTA Blue Line, and the airport's water transportation dock.
Terminals A and B are connected by pedestrian walkways before airport security. Other terminal transfers require the Massport shuttle. If you leave the secure area to change terminals, you'll need to clear airport security again before heading to your gate.
Each terminal has its own airport security checkpoint, and wait times vary throughout the day.
