What is your refund policy for CLEAR+ Membership?

CLEAR+ Members can downgrade their Membership at any time. If you cancel within the first fourteen (14) days of the date you were charged for your current CLEAR+ Membership, you will receive a full refund for that term but will no longer be permitted to use our airport Lanes as of the date of your cancellation.  If you cancel your CLEAR+ Membership more than fourteen (14) days from the date on which you were charged, your account will be scheduled not to renew upon the expiration of the then-current term of your CLEAR+ Membership. CLEAR+ Members on a trial will not be charged as long as they cancel before the last day of their trial.

To update your credit card via CLEAR's Mobile App:

  • Open the CLEAR Mobile App
  • Tap 'Settings'
  • Tap 'Membership'

  • Log in using your email or phone number

Do you have to be an airport member to use a platform solution?

Who can become a CLEAR+ Member?

Individuals 18 years of age and older can enroll in CLEAR+. To enroll, you must have one of the following forms of ID:

  • U.S. driver's license (must be REAL ID-compliant)
  • State issued ID (must be REAL ID-compliant)

What is CLEAR Mobile?

CLEAR Mobile delivers predictable airport security for travelers by accessing a dedicated lane at airport security, simply by showing a QR code. Free to CLEAR+ Members, the CLEAR Mobile Lanes are available to all travelers by purchasing a day pass—valid for 24 hours.

How do I use the CLEAR Mobile Lane?

Using CLEAR Mobile is easy: Simply show your QR code for a more predictable way through airport security. CLEAR+ Members enjoy unlimited access to the new CLEAR Mobile Lanes by downloading the CLEAR App and showing their QR code at the entrance—at no additional cost. If you're not a CLEAR+ Member, you can purchase a one-time pass issued via email. Make sure to have your QR code ready to scan when you arrive at the airport.

Is CLEAR Mobile the same as CLEAR+?

CLEAR Mobile is a different experience than CLEAR+. It delivers the same quick access that CLEAR is known for, but instead requires a QR code for access. CLEAR+ Members can get their QR code for free on the CLEAR App, while non CLEAR+ Members can purchase a one-time pass. Importantly, CLEAR Mobile does not verify your identity so have your ID and boarding pass handy.

Can I use CLEAR Lane if I have TSA PreCheck®?

Do I have to arrive at a specific time to use the CLEAR Mobile Lane?

No specific arrival time needed—a purchased pass gives travelers access to the CLEAR Mobile Lane on a specific date. CLEAR+ Members get on-demand access by simply showing their QR code in the CLEAR App.

Can I make a group reservation?

Travelers can add up to 9 passes. Children under 18 can join you in the CLEAR Mobile Lane for free. Anyone older than 18 must have a CLEAR+ Membership or purchase a pass.

What information is required to purchase a pass?

You will provide your first and last name, email address, and credit card information to purchase a pass.

If I didn’t reserve in advance, can I still use CLEAR Mobile?

Yes! You can make a reservation day-of to access the CLEAR Mobile Lane. Visit our booking site and select today’s date for access. Existing CLEAR+ Members do not need to make a reservation—simply download the CLEAR App and show their QR code on the top right corner to access.

Is the feedback survey required?

We love feedback, and survey responses are important for us to understand what’s working with this service and how we could improve. If you do not submit feedback, we may remove eligibility for future CLEAR Concierge bookings.

What are the terms for claiming my free credit?*

Existing CLEAR+ Members (i.e. you have the paid airport Membership) will receive $100 to purchase free stock after signing up and making an initial deposit of at least $250 within 30 days of opening their Public account through CLEAR. To qualify for the offer, you must maintain $250 in your Public account for at least 5 business days from the date of account approval.

Existing free CLEAR Members (i.e. you have used CLEAR at a sports venue, or to verify your identity with partners such as LinkedIn or Avis) will receive $50 to purchase free stock after signing up and making an initial deposit of at least $250 within 30 days of opening their Public account through CLEAR. To qualify for the offer, you must maintain $250 in your Public account for at least 5 business days from the date of account approval.

Claiming a free stock is limited to one redemption per person and your account must be approved and active to qualify and receive the stock. See full terms and conditions.

What can I invest in on Public?
