What is Guest Pass? How does it work?
A CLEAR Guest Pass is a seasonal offer with a unique promo code you can share with friends and family for a free trial of CLEAR Plus. Refer to our Guest Pass email communications for all the details!
Can my friends or family use the CLEAR Lane with me?
Yes! Children 17 and under can always join you for free—no account needed. But, here are two ways your adult friends or family members can use the CLEAR Lane:
- Log in to your account to add up to 3 adults for $70 each. Contact our Member Care team with their full name(s), date(s) of birth, their email address(es), and the email address linked to your CLEAR Membership.
- Or, use the referral link in your CLEAR email to refer a friend—you’ll each get CLEAR Plus for 2 months free. For every referred friend or family member who renews after the initial trial, you’ll get 2 months free added to your account.

Who can become a CLEAR Plus member?
Individuals 18 years of age and older can enroll in CLEAR Plus. To enroll, you must have one of the following forms of photo identification:
• U.S. Driver's License
• U.S. Passport or US Passport Card
• U.S.-Issued Permanent Resident Card
• U.S. State Issued I.D.
• Global Entry Card
All forms of identification must be valid, unexpired, not amended, and have a photo.
Children under 18 can use the CLEAR Lane for free when accompanies by a CLEAR Plus Member—no enrollment needed.
Where can I manage my account?
Visit my.clearme.com to manage your Membership:
• Upgrade & reactivate Membership
• Add or deactivate family members
• Cancel or adjust renewal settings
• Update billing information
• View and print receipts
Visit a CLEAR airport location and scan your valid photo I.D. to:
• Update name, date of birth, & address
• Update your eyes and fingerprints
What is your refund policy?
CLEAR Plus Members can downgrade their Membership at any time. Those who cancel their Membership with greater than 30 days remaining on their current term will receive a prorated refund for any time remaining. CLEAR Plus Members on a trial will not be charged as long as they cancel before the last day of their trial.
What is CLEAR Plus—and where can I use it?
CLEAR Plus is our paid airport Membership. With CLEAR Plus, you can move faster through airport security nationwide in our designated CLEAR Lanes at TSA checkpoints. Before you fly, our friendly Ambassadors help you verify your identity at a CLEAR Pod to save you time.

If I have contacts, cataracts, or glass eyes, will I be able to enroll in CLEAR Plus?
Our Pods still work for those with contacts or glasses. Individuals with scarring or cloudiness on the iris, such as cataracts, may experience some issues; however, CLEAR Plus can be used with your fingertips at the airport.
How do I use CLEAR Plus at the airport?
At participating airports, look for the CLEAR Lanes at TSA security checkpoints! Our friendly CLEAR Ambassadors will be ready to greet you. Once you’re at the CLEAR Pod, you’ll scan your boarding pass, verify your identity with your eyes or fingerprints, and then an Ambassador will escort you to standard physical screening. CLEAR Plus can also be used with TSA PreCheck® for the fastest way to your gate.
