Do I need a REAL ID?

Is My Health Record NY free?

Is there a fee associated with CLEAR Concierge?

How do I know if my airport has the EnVe Pod?

How long will it take for my Known Traveler Number (KTN) to arrive so I can use the TSA PreCheck® lanes?

Most TSA PreCheck® applicants receive their KTN in 3-5 days, though some applications can take up to 60 days. TSA PreCheck® applicants will receive notice of their approval status and KTN by email or phone. You can also check your status on our website at tsaprecheckbyclear.tsa.dhs.gov or contact customer support via phone (1-888-831-9070) or email (CLEARCustomerSupport@tsa.dhs.gov). Be sure to add your KTN in the appropriate field when booking your airline reservations.

Where do I meet my CLEAR Ambassador?

Your Ambassador will coordinate a meeting point with you before you arrive at the airport via text message. They’ll try to meet you where you’ll be arriving to help you along the fastest way through the airport.

Will the EnVe Pod be available at all airports?

Can I complete one application for both CLEAR+ and TSA PreCheck®?

Separate applications are required; however, you can complete both at participating CLEAR locations. When you sign up for CLEAR+, you have the option to bundle TSA PreCheck® enrollment with your CLEAR+ Membership to receive a pricing incentive and experience the best of both worlds.

Can I renew my TSA PreCheck® membership online?

Yes! Regardless of your original enrollment provider, most people can renew their TSA PreCheck® membership online through CLEAR. Simply select ‘Renew’ on the plan selection page. You will need to enter your biographic data or your KTN from your current membership to begin the renewal process online at tsaprecheckbyclear.tsa.dhs.gov. Please note that if you submit multiple TSA PreCheck® renewal applications, it could cause a significant delay in processing your application. Refunds will not be disbursed when multiple applications have been submitted.

Which airlines and flights are eligible for CLEAR Concierge?

Can I verify with my eyes and fingers instead?

Our new EnVe Pods are face-first. While we introduce our EnVe Pods at select airports, we might still have our original CLEAR Pods available to verify you are you with your eyes or fingers.

How long is my TSA PreCheck® KTN valid?

Your TSA PreCheck® KTN is valid for 5 years. If your TSA PreCheck® membership is approaching expiration, you can renew here.

Will Members need to take out their ID?

There may still be instances where Members will be required to show their ID to the TSA—such as Randomization or if there is a name mismatch.

How soon may I renew TSA PreCheck®?

You may begin the renewal process up to 6 months prior to expiration. Applicants will not lose any time for renewing early.

Will I need to update my Membership to use eGates?

As long as you are upgraded to NextGen Identity+, you can use eGates—no need to update your Membership.

TSA PreCheck® enrollment provided by CLEAR is easy because you can get the process started online and don’t need to make an appointment to finish in-person. Simply show up at a convenient participating CLEAR location with the correct documents within 180 days to complete the application. Does it cost money to use the EnVe Pod?

Once I enroll in TSA PreCheck®, how soon can I use the TSA PreCheck® lanes?

You will not be able to access the TSA PreCheck® lane directly after enrollment. You will need to wait until you are approved and receive your Known Traveler Number (KTN) before you can use the TSA PreCheck® lanes at airports nationwide. Most TSA PreCheck® applicants receive their KTN in 3-5 days, though some applications can take up to 60 days. TSA PreCheck® applicants will receive notice of their approval status and KTN by your preferred method of communications, email or phone. You can also check your status on our website at tsaprecheckbyclear.tsa.dhs.gov or contact customer support by phone (1-888-831-9070) 8am – 10pm ET, weekdays or email (CLEARCustomerSupport@tsa.dhs.gov) anytime. Be sure to add your KTN to your airline reservations in order to receive the TSA PreCheck® indicator on your boarding pass when traveling.
