Can I ask CLEAR to delete my information?

You have full control of your information. All of your personal data—including biometrics—will be deleted upon request.  If you wish to request deletion of your information, just email privacy@clearme.com or submit a request here.

How do I print my receipt?

Once your credit card has been successfully charged for your CLEAR+ Membership, you can print your most recent receipt from your account page. Log in at my.clearme.com and select ‘Print Receipt’ on the right side.

Why should I 'Verify with CLEAR' on LinkedIn?

Verifying your identity helps you build authenticity within your LinkedIn community. A verification by CLEAR on your LinkedIn profile helps indicate to your network that you are you. Adding verifications is optional, and it’s not a required step to complete your profile.

How can I remove my Digital Vaccine Card?

To remove your Digital Vaccine Card:

1. Open the CLEAR app and select the blue Digital Vaccine Card tile.

2. Follow the prompts to view your Digital Vaccine Card and select 'View Details'.

3. Select 'Remove Vaccination'.

If you choose to remove your Digital Vaccine Card, you will need to re-add your vaccination information if you'd like to use your Digital Vaccine Card in the future.

Can I retrieve an image of my CDC Card or SMART Health Card once uploaded?

Yes. Once scanned and a Digital Vaccine Card is generated, you can access an image of your CDC card or SMART Health Card by tapping "View Details".

How is CLEAR1 different from the airport?

How do I upgrade to CLEAR+?

  • To get started online, log in to my.clearme.com and upgrade your account to CLEAR+. Then, download the CLEAR App and upload your U.S. passport to complete enrollment.
  • For international travelers, complete your enrollment at a CLEAR+ airport and enjoy faster, easier airport security.

Do I have to be a CLEAR member to link my vaccination or scan my CDC card in the app?

Yes. If you aren't yet a member, you can enroll by selecting the 'digital vaccine card' tile or ‘Health Pass’ tile in the app.

How do I cancel my Membership?

To cancel your Membership, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to

2. Select 'Billing and Membership' from the lefthand menu.

3. Click the right arrow next to 'CLEAR+ Membership' which lists your pay structure and next billing cycle.

4. Under your CLEAR+ Membership details and benefits, select 'Cancel Membership' and follow the remaining steps.

OR

1. Select “Chat with us” to chat with our Digital Ambassador, Halo, and take care of this in just a few seconds.

If you are on a trial period, you will not be charged if you cancel before the last day of your trial.
If you joined CLEAR+ through another Member’s Family Plan, only the main account holder can make changes.

What data will I receive?

Can a minor generate a digital vaccine card?

Currently you must be 18 or older and enrolled in CLEAR to create a digital vaccine card.

Who is eligible to use CLEAR to verify their LinkedIn profile?

How is CLEAR+ different from TSA PreCheck® or Global Entry?

TSA PreCheck® through CLEAR

CLEAR+, TSA PreCheck® and Global Entry are all separate services that help expedite different parts of the travel experience. At airports, CLEAR+ speeds Members through the travel document check process on departing flights. CLEAR Members also enjoy an expedited screening process at sports stadiums and other partner services where CLEAR is used to confirm identity.

TSA PreCheck® is a U.S. government program that identifies travelers deemed low-risk by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Once approved to participate in the program, it allows travelers to pass through expedited security screening at U.S. airports nationwide with no need to remove shoes, laptops, 3-1-1 liquids, belts or light jackets. This allows travelers to enjoy a more convenient and efficient experience at airport security.

Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Members enter the United States through automatic kiosks at select airports. Many of our Members enjoy CLEAR+ along with these other services, but CLEAR+ Members do not need TSA PreCheck® or Global Entry to enjoy the benefits of CLEAR.

What do I do if I fail the LexisNexis quiz?

You may take the quiz up to twice in one enrollment session. If you fail the quiz after the second attempt, you can try again in the next 24 hours.

Who is eligible to use CLEAR for Avis Rental Car Check In?
